Shell New road terrific service

I had a horrific experience at Shell New road -Midrand Gauteng.Just off N1. I get there fuel my car for 400rands and when I tried to tap using my fone it returned an error.

I then told the petrol attendant that it certainly can’t be a fu da related issue . We the. Retried and he immediately highlighted its mostly a network issue,considering there was no electricity. I was then asked to park closer to the garage door whilst I tried to log into the app to send myself an ewallet .This would hve allowed me to pay in cash .30-45 mins later I still wasn’t winning . I then called the gentleman who served me and highlighted that I’m running late for picking up my daughter from school. I stipulated I should have been there by 3 and asked what I could leave behind E.g ID ,license . He then asked me to go and speak to OFENTSE I assume he is the manager for this franchise.

I walked in explained the predicament I had and he asked me to Leave my work laptop. I then stipulated I am not comfortable as this is a company laptop and we are not permitted to share this even with family members. I went on to suggest leaving my fone instead then I would come and fetch it once Iv picked my little one . His response “this is not my problem ,whilst walking towards my car “. He got there and clamped my vehicle .

My back was out against the wall as all I thought of was my daughter . I then handed the laptop to him and asked that I record him for proof in the event there are no cameras at this service station .

He blatantly refused , and asked me if I’m no longer in a hurry to fetch my daughter . I the. Asked how I was going to go when my car is stil clamped he then removed the clamp and I left. The other reason he refused to take my fone he claimed people are ******ers and bro g ****** fones to the service station . I’m wondering if people can do that why can’t they bring ****** laptops . This man is a ********* and I would like this looked into . At no point was he willing to assist especially considering network is beyond my control.
