Shell Garage ****

On the 1st of November 2022 I was at my local Shell Garage on 1st Avenue West, Parkhurst. When I walked into their shop I saw they had table outside the main entrance where they were selling goodie bags. The bags had a power bank, what I really needed, a wireless sports headset, a car charger for cell in car, a holder for cell in car and a cable, no idea what for. The lady and gent selling these bags told me they had a 6 month warranty. I said I would buy and was told to take my card into the Shell shop and pay which I did. I was given a receipt, which says Shell ProMotion. So when the power ban stopped working after 2 weeks I went back with contents of goodie bag and receipt and asked for a refund. The Shell manager told me it was nothing to do with Shell it was an outside promotion and I must phone them. I phoned the number on the receipt which not surprisingly did not exist. This was a **** and the **** went through the Shell card machines. How can Shell now say it is nothing to do with them.
