Shell Garage Glenhove Bad Custome Experience
On Tuesday 06 August 2019, I took my car in for a wash the Shell Garage on the corner of Glenhove and Central Street. I was told that it would take about 45 minutes to 1 hour for it to be ready. My colleague and I then left and went back to the office. I had some tight deadlines. Just after 5 pm, I realized that I had forgotten to pick up the car from the garage and hurried up there. I paid for it and requested for the keys. the cashier did not have any clue about the car keys for my car which at this stage was parked outside. I then approached the duty manager, Zacharia who ignored to enquire about this. I did apologize to him for losing track of time. at first, he ignored me 3 times and continued to blame for the mistake, which I admitted. The more I apologized, the more aggressive he became. He proceeded to inform me that the car wash team had knocked off and locked my keys away and that there was nothing he could do and that I was not allowed not have left the car behind as per the company policy. This was never indicated to me before. I have used the services of this entity and always left my vehicle behind as it is convenient while I continue with my duties at the office. After about an hour and a half, the guy with the keys came and presented my keys and stated that the reason that he left with my car keys is because I did not pay for the service upfront and that I had once complained about the service and that it was their way of teaching me a lesson. the manager (Zacharia) supported this statement. My response to him was "You are not fit to be a manager". For which he responded "You are an idiot, you left your car behind" he continued to make a scene attracting attention. I was shocked by his behavior. Today, 13 August, I approached him to try and reconcile with him while in the company of my colleague. He arrogantly told me that he wanted nothing to do with me and repeatedly insisted that I deserved to get beaten up.
