Refused to assist with a tire change

This occurred on Thursday 19/03/2015 at 18h20.<br> Last night when I was driving home I realised that my tire was flat and decided to stop at the Shell garage in Lambton Germiston to pump up my tire. When I got there I saw that there was a rather large nail sticking out of my tire. The petrol attendant that came up to me offered to help me change it but said he had to ask permission from his supervisor first, which was understandable. He then came back 5 minutes later and said he was only allowed to pump up the tire and then send me on my way! I am a woman who travels a long distance alone and still had 20km to go before reaching home. I was, to say the least, flabbergasted at the supervisor's attitude! The cherry on the cake was when, after they had pumped up the tire, I was getting into my car and another attendant came up to me and told me that the supervisor said I had to hurry up and move my car as I was blocking one of the pumps and wasn't a paying customer. I had to drive home with a nail in my wheel and went to the BP to see if they would help me, the wheel was changed in ten minutes and I was on my way. Needless to say I will NEVER be stopping at a SHELL garage EVER again!!!
