Public Humiliation at Fomiss Aeroton Shell

On December 20, 2025, at approximately 8:50 PM, I visited the Fomiss Shell petrol station at Aeroton to refuel my vehicle. I purchased R350 worth of diesel fuel and had R150 in cash (the remaining R200 was on my credit card). The petrol attendant, Innocent, informed me that the station does not permit split payments, and I had exceeded my daily withdrawal limit for the day. He advised me to make arrangements and proceeded to contact his manager, Mr. Ozias. Mr. Ozias inquired about the reason for the conflict. I provided him with a detailed explanation, and he instructed me to wait for someone to make a cash payment so that the R200 could be processed. I felt uncomfortable and humiliated during this encounter. I had previously made split payments at this Shell garage, and I was surprised by this unexpected behavior. The petrol attendants, including Innocent and Mr. Ozias, made derogatory remarks about my situation. I was disappointed by this incident, especially since it occurred at my preferred fuel station. I would like to request further action to be taken regarding this matter and to be informed of the outcome.
