Negligence service
Date: 17/04/2020 time: 14:32pm receipt num: 65148 I am very disturbed with the careless service received at Shell Newclare for the second time. On the 17/04/2020 at 14:32pm I went to fill up with diesel as well as oil. I then drove to several places including taking my kids to the pharmacy not knowing that my oil cap has not been replaced! As I was driving home at 18:20pm with my boys age 4 and 9 my double cab was making a funny sound and it seemed as if my car can just breakdown. As soon as I arrived home I wanted to see where that sound came from in my engine only to find my engine and drive way covered with oil. THEY DID NOT REPLACE MY OIL CAP FOR THE SECOND TIME! As I said this is the second time this problem occurred at the same shell garage! 2 years ago I also filled up with oil and they didn't replace my oil cap as well. I spoke to a guy named Zack at the garage & he just revered me to someone to wash my engine the following day. Taking in account I had to pay people out of my own pockets to tow me home the night I got stuck at 9pm. I was stranded with my boys & my Runx car I had than refuse to start as it ran out of oil and as a women I had no clue what to do. I encountered several engine problems after that incident, I even had to sell my car after spending so much money to fix it all the time. Getting back to yesterday's incident, I left my 4year old and 9year old alone at home when I went back to the garage as I know how stressful it can be to stuck. When I got there Tumelo put me on the phone with the same guy Zack that helped me 2 years ago. This guy had a nerve to tell me IT'S UNFORTUNATE that all car washes is closed and they won't be able to get my engine washed at this time , the petrol attendants just need to see if they can find my oil cap in my engine.... Like really! This is more then just a engine wash! This is a serious matter. What if I went long distance and my engine seized? Was he still just going to wash the engine? They had to put 3x500ml bottles of oil that's how much oil my bakkie lost! It could have been worse if I drove longer. I had it with this putrid service really!
