Harassing attendant

Good day.. I'm coming to you as a very disappointed client with regards to one of your petrol attendants at Shell garage on corner Webster and groblersdal street... Last year I went to go and get petrol early in the morning in a rush to get to work.. I told the attendant that I want to pour 50 rand petrol. After a while I notice that this guy is still pouring and I'm wondering why 50 rand would take so long.. When I look at the petrol pump, it's now going towards a thousand rand petrol and I tell the guy to stop... When asking him what's going on, he says that he heard me saying I want a full tank.. I told him I don't even have that money in my account and I cannot afford it... He said he will get a machanic to drain the petrol from my car, I asked the attendant if the mechanic is certified and if he is hired by Shell to drain petrol from people's cars or if it's his own personal mechanic.. He said that the mechanic is certified.. I agreed for them to drain the petrol, and they were using gadgets that a certified mechanic would not use on any car, there was the use of a small suction pump, and I could see a knife being used on my car, and it was just ***** business because that mechanic was summoned from out of nowhere and he had no job card or identification for me.. The mechanic did not manage to drain the petrol, and one of the managers came up with the idea that I pay off the amount in installments... I was in such a hurry to get to work at that stage because my manager was starting to call me.. I agreed to pay off the amount in installments, and I wrote on a piece of paper how the payments would be like... The first month of the agreement, I did not manage to pay the agreed amount,, to my surprise during that very same month, the petrol attendant that started this whole mess by not being attentive at work, arrives at my workplace and tells my manager what happened at the garage on that dreadful day,, I was very surprised by this because my workplace and my manager had nothing to do with the whole incident, so in essence your attendant breached the POPI act by bringing this matter to my manager that had no business in this matter.. A few weeks after your mechanic operated on my car, my radiator started to leak, and my petrol would not last as long as it used to... I tried to be nice with your attendant but the guys attitude stinks, and he is not willing to take responsibility for what he did because he keeps on saying that I told him to pour a full tank.. I have made payments to the amount of approximately 700 rand, and I feel that that the damages your attendant has caused to my vehicle far outweighs the amount of petrol that he poured on that day.. I am a regular client at Shell, and I have been for years, I started pouring petrol there since I was in high school while driving my mom around.. We have built a very good rapport with the colleagues there and I feel like this man's actions have now dented that. Recently I visited the Garage to pour some petrol, and that very same guy in his usual rude disrespectful manner tells me, do I realise that I still owe him.. I started my car and left because I did not want an altercation.. Thereafter my colleagues kept telling me that they are receiving calls from people from Shell looking for me.. I feel like this is harassment and I do not at all appreciate such things... I am now tired of this matter, this guy has done damage to my car, to my reputation and is now disturbing my daily peace.. May this issue please be resolved.

Yours in sincerity Tebogo Matlala
