Fuel *****/Negligence at Shell Boeing Road, Edenvale

I am extremely disappointed with the service at Shell on Boeing Road, Edenvale. After work, my vehicle had 20 km of fuel remaining. I paid R100 for petrol, which should have added around 120 km. To my surprise, the fuel gauge stayed at 20 km.

I informed the petrol attendant, but he ignored my concern. While driving towards Bedford Centre, my range dropped to 15 km, forcing me to stop at another Shell on Robert Street, Kensington, where I paid R100 and the fuel was correctly added, increasing my range to 100 km. This clearly proves that the petrol I paid for at Edenvale was never dispensed. I have both payment slips to verify this. The attendant’s lack of care put me at serious risk and is completely unacceptable. I am requesting compensation or a refund for the petrol I paid for but never received. This experience was unprofessional and unfair.
