Disdain in V power Loyalty

Hi, just this afternoon I was refueling at Shell Knysna, expecting to use my shell loyalty cards funds. To my disdain the system did not work and I did not have the R60 to pay for the fuel (red faced). Luckily, the petrol attendant came to my aid and said I can pay later, putting himself at risk of a warning. I really appreciate this gentleman's assistance, as I am a student and re**** on that discount to make it home. Eventually my first card worked and we could deduct R30 therefrom though, the second kept on declining. I am really disappointed in this system as when you really need it the most, it is not there.
