Disappointing service at Shell Chris Hani Road
During my lunch break I drove to the Shell garage in Soweto Chris Hani Road which is near Supa Store, to withdraw cash at the FNB ATM machine.
This was around 1:30pm Today, there was a man dressed in black at the entrance who had a senitiser bottle and was checking that people were taking their temperature. He was initially rude to an old man infront of me who couldn't get how the machine worked and told him if he doesn't get it right he would make him step out(I was also shocked and appalled by this behavior as that is no way to speak to an elderly person or anyone for that matter).
It was then my turn and I used my wrist to take my temperature which gave a result of 35.1 He turned me back and forced me to use my forehead to take the temperature, I could not understand because I use the same method everywhere. I tried to explain that you have a pulse on your hand which gives a correct reading as well but he told me I cannot do that.
I then walked away to do what I needed to do elsewhere and he said "yha vaya vele", which means "yes, leave". That is really an unacceptable way to talk to clients and it needs to be dealt with or people will keep taking their services elsewhere like I did.
