Complaint Regarding Violation of BCEA and Unfair Labour Practices at Shell Watloo

I am writing to formally raise a complaint regarding the ongoing violation of the Basic Conditions of Employment Act (BCEA) and other labour laws at Shell Watloo, Mamelodi. I have been employed at this filling station for over years, and during this entire period, I have never been granted two consecutive days off. Instead, my days off have always been limited to just one day, which is a blatant violation of both BCEA regulations and basic principles of fair employment practices. While I sincerely appreciate the opportunity to work for Shell and provide for my family, this situation is increasingly unsustainable and unfair. As a family man with various personal obligations, the lack of sufficient time off is causing significant stress and frustration. It is not only detrimental to my wellbeing but also to my ability to fulfill my responsibilities outside of work. This issue has been ongoing for far too long, and it is imperative that Shell SA intervene to address this matter urgently. The current practice is neither reasonable nor compliant with labour laws, and it is a clear violation of workers' rights. I request that immediate steps be taken to ensure that fair labour practices are implemented, and that I, along with other employees affected, receive the rest and time off we are entitled to by law. I look forward to a prompt and positive resolution to this matter.
