Bad attitude

<p>This Sunday I went to the Shell on Rosemead Ave in Cape Town to have my 2 door car washed. Once the first phase of soaping and rinsing was done I noted that there were several dirt marks that had not been properly washed. I indicated this to the attendant and said i should move the car to the dry area where they would try to clean it better. I did so and as they were drying, I mentioned again to the worker that the lines were still visible. I assured the car washer that this dirt was from this week. The owner of the station appeared and started to make comments such as:the marks are not removable. They are part of the paint", whuich i had to disprove by rubbing my finger over the dirt and showing it could come off if a different cloth was used. Instead of agreeing, the said owner would keep insisting that there was nothhing they could do and i needed to take the car for a polish coz the paint was old! This completely infuriated me and had I been someone of a lesser mind, I would've left leaving with a dirty car. He expected me to accept the car in this state and said that "if we took more time with your car and every car, then we wouldn't get through all the cars. We need to get them finished quickly." Clearly, the idea of actually completing the service to an acceptable level was not important to him, but getting my money was. Fortunately, the other guy came back with a different cloth and app**** it with force, thereby getting rid of all marks in seconds, as expected. At this point, I was expecting the owner to apologize profusely for trying to pull the wool over my eyes because I was a woman, but he never did. This sent a clear message about how important customer satisfation is to this station and I left incredibly disrespected by the owner for trying to make me seem unreasonable to ask them to do what I paid for. </p>
