1 mistake that's now costing me a fortune

On the 4th January 2023 on my way back to Gauteng I went to fill up at Mooketsi Shell garage at R81 and as I usually do I asked the petrol attended to check water and oil which he opened the bonnet but I don't think he checked any of the things. I don't remember seeing him holding a water jar. The garage was so full that it took me more than 45mins to be services and the attendant kept on disappearing. On my way I kept on thinking that he didn't pour the water and after Nyl Plaza the car started having funny sounds which I pulled over on the side only to find that there was no water in the car at all. After stopping a truck driver to come and help out since it was just myself, my lil sister and 4 children. The truck driver told me that the car didn't have water and it has damaged the top gasket as it over heated. He poured in 5 litres of water plus the 2 litre which I had in the car. I will not mention the attendants name but my receipt shows that I was there at 10:02 at pump 10. Can the management of this garage look into this as now I had to find a tour truck to get me to Gauteng (Soweto) which cost me a fortune and now I still have to fix my car. No matter how busy it can be, can they do their job properly and not take advantage especially when they are dealing with females. Some things we (women) do not check and especially since I'm always using this garage and they have always provided me with a good service. I just took it as if they are all trained well and they know what they are doing. I so hope nothing like this can happen to another people as it's not a nice experience. It's not nice being stuck in the middle of nowhere even worse being a female and with kids.
