I activated my trial offer on 26th of October just as you could verify on databases and as the screenshot below certifies. I get my trial membership only because I would like to explore your opportunities.
Because of lack of time, I was not able to follow any lessons, to fill any test and to do any assessment, so I cancelled my subscription on 23th of November, just as the screenshot below certifies.
After this date (23/11) I didn't ask to get a certificate or to reactivate my module. Since that day, my membership was cancelled, as you can see in the picture below.
On 7th of December I noticed for the first time that I paid three times € 39,99 with my PayPal (on 25/11, 30/11 and 1/12). The day after I called PayPal and I discovered that there was an enabled automatic payment and I instantly (re)desabled that. That day I sent a mail to Shaw Academy and I received the first refund for 1 december's payment.
Then I wrote a new mail to Shaw Academy to complete my refund (for 25/11 and 30/11) and yesterday your very kind employee Glenna called me and said that she could delete my data from the database (but it didn't happen yet) and proposed a longlife membership instead of my due refund. I explained that I'm not interested, because now I cannot follow your course for lack of time. I said that next year I could come back and in that case, no matter if I have to pay for a new time. So she asked me to wait for a day. Probably she is already solving my issue, but I prefer to ask you to check.
Indeed I read on an online article that you say: “Our refund policies are far more flexible than almost all B2C [business-to-consumer] subscription providers, ie, we refund even when users have not cancelled.” [https://www.theguardian.com/education/2020/jun/13/big-online-learning-provider-faces-calls-for-refunds-after-complaints] Because of that I'm sure that you can solve my problem in a easy way considering that in my case I canceled my membership in time and considering that I didn't user nothing on your site (I'm an IT expert and I know that you can verify that on database: I access few time on your website during this month and I did it only to check the status of membership, to add some new course and to schedule some lessons that unfortunately I never followed).
Yesterday I also received a mail that ask to me to reactivate my account, I don't know why... So, just to avoid any unpleasant incident I kindly ask to you to delete definitively my membership and my account for now, because if I would like to come back I know perfectly where to find you
