Truth about Shaw Academy free course

On the 2 Feb 2020 I had joined Shaw Academy's free month course.

As I did not participate in the course I wanted to cancel my membership with them on the 2 March 2020 as the free contract stated we can cancel any time before the monthly period has expired, when I went on to the app it stated that I still had one day to cancel the subscription. I proceeded with the cancellation. In the end they provide you with a number to to phone to confirm the cancellation.

When you phone the number you get a welcome message stating that the offices is closed and that business hours is form 9h00, I have a recording taken a 10h24 where I got this message. The first time I got through was on the 5 March 2020.

They deducted the payment on the 2 March 2020 not even a half an hour after my cancellation request.

They refuse to do a refund and keep on saying that I have not cancelled in time.

I wonder with how many people they have done this
