SHAW ACADEMY - UNAUTHORIZED DEBITS!!!

Last year I cancelled my subscription with Shaw Academy. Last week I was debited twice for an amount of R199.50 for no reason. I tried calling their Cape Town branch but surprise surprise, the call just cuts off.

There is no way of speaking to an actual human and their website offers no other form of contact other than email - of which I'm sure a response is not guaranteed.

I am very angry as this company seems to rip people off and they get away with it.

One thing I have come to learn is you can report the unauthorized transaction with your bank, they will reverse it a charge, which I rather do than having this company benefit a dime. You can also put a stop on your card to stop them from having access to your funds.

I hope that someone looks further into this matter and brings this company to book for taking money that does not belong to them especially during difficult times like this.
