Shaw Academy, taking money from poor students without permission

Shaw Academy advertises free courses for a month. You start the course which is actually good but you have to pay for absolutely everything else, the information to do the assignments etc. Then after a month of a free trial, you get charged after not giving them permission. I got charged R500 for membership and R200 for a certificate for doing only part of a course. You can phone them on a number on the website - it goes to a voice machine and you get no replies from the emails. The social media platforms are full of comments talking of similar experiences. So sad, wish I saw them before clicking on the course. I am jobless, a student and they just take money from people like taking candy from a baby. It has left such a sour taste in my mouth. I was so excited to do the course as it was going to give me the opportunity to broaden my horizons to get a job and more and now they just take money away from me. The threads on social media continue to say they take money off your card for months. The only way to cancel it is cancelling your credit card. What an inconvenience and not necessary. To cancel your account on the website, you need to call a number and that just goes to a machine always. What a ****!!!!
