Shaw Academy **** Free course advertised online

Good day, I signed up for a "FREE" 4 week English course advertised by Shaw Academy which is usually R399.00. On registration I was requested to pay for the course material at R499.00 (R100.00 more than was advertised as the normal fee) on doing this, I was then requested to pre-pay for the certificate +- R180.00 before any of the course material can be released (I do realize that the certificate needs to be paid for on completion) The online adverti*****t clearly states that you will not be charged for the course until the 20/12 if you choose to continue and not debited immediately on registration. This is false advertising and a **** to get people to expect a "FREE" course but you end up paying for the course material upfront once they have your credit card details. I have logged a complaint: Your query has been received and has been given the unique ID number #***.
