Signing up for the Shaw Academy Free Trial is a complete ****, You cant remove your credit card details from their website without having to phone Shaw Academy - to speak to a "Student Guidance Manager - (Kyle Marquard)" whose only job is to get you to keep your banking details on their system and send you a 'promise' email with extended free trial - this was on 19 Nov After I did my first "Free" module lesson, on 03 Dec, I was charged R499-99 when I went back into my profile to check what my next lesson will be about - When I phoned in again to request a refund - a different student guidance manager (Nadine Jacobus) said she's give me their billing address contact details and give me the module 1 e-certificate free + module 2 toolkit to be added to my profile On the same day I received an email from Sabrina about my wish to terminate my account and sending my payment details to the relevant dept for "investigation" - and a link to "click HERE" to log out of my Account/App I THINK NOT!! - never will I ever click on anything on Shaw Academy's email / App, or whatever else relating to Shaw Academy - just in FEAR OF BEING CHARGED AGAIN! You can keep your promises and 'how nice it was to speak to you' emails - keep your free toolkits and your e-certificate And how the hell can I log out and remove my account from your App, if I'm still waiting for my REFUND! There is NO INVESTIGATION TO BE DONE! I want nothing from yourselves - just refund the R499-99 back to my bank card - then remove my personal and banking details from your website / app!
