SHAW Academy is a ****!!!!

I "registered" via a Facebook link for a free course in photography. I stopped filling in the form when I got to a link that said it is a 4-month course and that only the first month us free. The FB add said it's a free 4-week course. The next day someone called me. Told me the first month is free, and I don't need to continue with the next three months. Thus, a "free 4-week course". I had to give my card info. Even if there were no money in the account. (I should have realized that it was an issue then!). Luckily it's with the bank I don't really use. He continued saying it is free, but there were R10 deduced from my account. I told him this, and he couldn't believe it. Either, he doesn't know his product, or he is lying to/******** me. I asked to cancel my registration. He told me he can't do it. I will get an email telling me my registration is cancelled, and a confirmation call. I haven't received any of those. Two working days later. I am getting emails and SMSs, even throughout the weekend, about my course that is starting. Even now, I received a message that my course just started, and that I am late to join! Every SMS and email I receive, I answer with, "I expected a call to confirm that my registration was cancelled on 27 November." No reply to THAT message from me yet.
