Shaw Academy has no integrity.

Shaw Academy's free sign up process contains an obfuscated toolkit charge that you don't realise will be charged to your account before you even start. When I signed up for the FREE trial I was charged and I couldn't see why. When I logged in I saw that I supposedly bought a toolkit. When I queried it I was told it was a one-click purchase and according to their terms and conditions not refundable. When I tried to do the course I selected it wasn't working and according to a lady from Shaw Academy that specific course wasn't ready and that their technicians are working on it. I wanted a refund for the supposed tool kit I apparently bought with one click but they refuse. So now I have bought something that I can't use at all and I'm out of pocket R499. I also cancelled before 7 days which, according the Consumer Protection act I can do and demand a refund because I am not satisfied with the purchase. But no ... they just refuse. This puts such a bad taste in the mouth I'll never sign up for a free trial with any company whatsoever again. It's just a ploy to take your money for nothing. I give Shaw Academy a zero rating. In fact if I could make it a negative I would. And I know I'm just one person, but the ocean is made up of many one drops! I am livid to say the least! In fact, I finally did get to the course information and watched the first video which was absolute garbage. Primary school stuff. It's a disgrace.
