Shaw Academy *****

In April this year I got a call from a Mikaeel Williams from Shaw academy. My wife enquired about a course towards the end of the previous year. This person from Shaw academy mentioned that the course available is free of charge, but for some reason, he needed my wife's bank card number - if I recall correctly, the excuse was that they use this in order to try and prevent some or other ********** activity. That same night, Shaw academy deducted R20.00 off our bank account.

My wife contacted them to cancel her registration/ course. At the end of May they deducted another R399.00 - no mention of hidden costs was made at all.

Just like many of the complaints I have seen online, we too now join the long queue of people facing an uphill battle in getting their money back from Shaw Academy.

Shaw Academy needs to be investigated by the authorities. How they are still allowed to operate in SA is a complete mystery.
