Shaw Academy

Shaw Academy advertised free online course.

I signed up and it said , 1 month free access after that, they will take money from my account.

So even though the course was ‘Free’, I still had to enter my card details online.

I had so much trouble with Shaw Academy’s website and app that I decided to cancel my Free course long before the 1 month free trial expired.

They make it difficult to cancel but when I did, I received a confirmation email stating that my account had been cancelled.

After that, Shaw Academy sent me 9 text messages on different days saying that if I reactivate my course, I would receive free course materials/tools.

I blocked every single message from them.

A month later, Shaw Academy took R400 out of my bank account and said that I reinstated my course which I never did at all. They are now refusing to reimburse my R400 for a course I've never done.
