We won 1 month free access to Shaw Academy through Vodacom. They say they want your bank details up front as if you dont cancel after the free month they will start debiting your account. Next thing, Shaw makes an immediate ******* deduction from my account . I contact them and ask to be cancelled and get told they will not refund me. Here are the contents of their mail to me: "We are not able to process refund unfortunately, however, I can confirm your membership is cancelled thus ensuring no further payments. Instead we are providing you with 6 months access totally free of charge as I want to turn this into a positive experience right away." Shaw Academy operates *******ly and in bad faith. Looking at online reviews I see there are many complaints in this regard.
