Absolutely disgusted in this company .

I saw an advert on instagram for a class i was interested in , i decided to follow the link to find out the course was free for 4 weeks , having done a design course through Shaw previously , i did not have many doubts about the websites legitimacy , so i added my card details are requested for the free course , and they charged and refunded my account for R10 , everything seemed alright at this point.

Signing into my student account i was met with a bunch of other classes being shoved down my throat as well as the course i attended a few years ago , thinking nothing of the "Get your course materials" button , i clicked on it thinking it would show me a list or catalogue of the lessons for the class so id know what i was signing up for , but no , just like that Shaw charged me for the course without hesitation or confirmation , very quick to take R499.99 , i immediately issue a refund through the email , and contact their support page on twitter getting an automated reply saying that my ticket has been received , I have still not been contacted by anyone .

I have also tried cancelling my free trial as i am fed up with this website and dont want to support them in any capacity , when going to cancel , i am met with the "cancel subscription button" about 5 times asking me if im sure i want to , only for them to give me a phone number i need to call to confirm cancellation , I have called twice and no one has picked up , now my card details are saved on the site and is on schedule to charged for this "free course" and i cant remove my card details or cancel. This is a HORRIBLE design .

Terrible experience .
