Shaw Acadamy, a borderline ****.

Hi... okay so I signed up and all was well, except the pop up adds. They are as unspecific as the emails, I opened an email that said collect course meterial, I was completely oblivious that I was supposed to buy the course materials and only found out after the R499.00 was charged to my account. Also it is absolutely ridiculous that you advertise the one month free trial but students can't complete any of the courses without the course materials which cost R499.00 ... and having to buy your certificate after buying your course materials if also absolutely undeniably stupid. Furthermore the pop-up adds where so frequent, why not just show the add once maybe twice but seriously, I think maybe you're not as caring of your students, considering you claim they get a 4 week free trial but is costs around R1000.00 just to do the course and get your certificate. Lastly the good reviews that you post on your website and the app are just about the only positive reviews I found. I get that you need to make money, but there is a fine line between making money and exploiting students. Just saying Shaw Acadamy maybe try a less aggressive approach. Less adds, less costs in your "free trial" and just overall beter communication. I paid R499.00 without knowing because of your shady choice of words.
