I signed up for a 'free' course with these ********. While I was signing up, a window popped up with a 5 minute time limit saying get your course materials and modules now with an amount of R499. I accepted this as part of the process. Yesterday, I noticed that a further R999 had been debited from my account. Just before that a representative from Shaw Academy phoned asking me if I was happy with the course. He was nice and friendly. I reported the debit of R499 and he said everything was supposed to be free and he would revert. The first debit was a **** and the second debit is THEFT. Do not use Shaw Academy EVER. I have logged a ***** case with my bank and will be following legal avenues to get this money back and shut down this **** company.
