Requested a refund!

This is an online learning site, which i was very excited about my 4 week free trial i received! when i signed up, When i signed up i got countless amounts of promotional emails like 5 or more a day, click this purchase that! i stopped that right in its tracks! then i look at my Credit Card and i was Charge R499 for supposedly a E-certificate and the next day charged another R499 for a toolkit! so much for a free trial. I requested a refund, because i didn't one, purchase it, and two what is the point of a free trial, when you "have" to spend money you don't have. And really struggling at this stage - and just wanted to extend my knowledge as advise by my employer i didn't want to spend thousands on this and that is why i opted for a free trial! if i had the money i would have purchased it! Refund was denied!
