Qualifications that are useless in the real world

<p>Here is the my opinion on Shaw Academy.</p> <p> </p> <p>Their qualifications (CPD Certificate & NCFE Diploma) that you can get after 10 hours online are not worth the paper they are written on.</p> <p> </p> <p>Firstly there is no such thing as a CPD certificate. Professional organisations require their members to do CPD hours (25 hours per year) to maintain their qualification like an accountant or financial adviser.</p> <p> </p> <p>I don’t see any course they offer that a professional organisation would approve hours to keep their qualification so it is all bull****. </p> <p> </p> <p>Re: Their NCFE Diploma.</p> <p> </p> <p>NCFE is a charity not a university or college. You pay them a fee and they will hand out any organisation diploma status on any course like handing out smarties.</p> <p> </p> <p>These qualifications won’t get you a new job or promotion as they are not worth the paper they are written on. Only in your own mind will this e possible.</p> <p> </p> <p>There business model is a monthly subscription yet they set up a new company called Live Online Academy offering the same courses that cost about $400.</p> <p> </p> <p>This is so their re-seller sites like groupon can pretend their is a massive 95% discount with is complete bull****.</p> <p> </p> <p>They will say that you will get $50-$75k salaries after a 10 hour online course in a subject you no nothing about. Think about this!!! It is not possible.</p> <p> </p> <p>Also, They will hit you for more fees to get this useless qualifications on your $10 groupon course.
