Not impressed with Shaw Academy

I received a "free" course offer from Vodacom. I have only had one "lecture" so far but have been inundated with cunning tricks to try to get me to part with money. Other reviews for paid courses are very negative so I am being super cautious. I don't like what I see, it looks like a con.
