Misleading Course Ad payment

Good day, I won the Free 4 week Course through Vodacom which I completed. I was then reminded by Shaw to upgrade to be able to finish this Diploma. The Shaw adverti*****t said it is R166.58 p/m so I thought that is not too bad, I will be able to afford this during Covid 19 lockdown. I put in my Debit Card details for the monthly debit of R166.58 and it took the whole R1999 from my Bank Account yesterday which I cannot afford because I'm not working now and don't get a salary. The Shaw adverti*****t is misleading. It took all my food money for the month to follow. It also took R399 from my account for a e-certificate which I did not request!!! When I phone the Shaw Academy Tel. No. which I got on the Cancellation Webpage it says the office is closed during Lockdown. How can I cancel this with immediate effect and get my money back which was deducted from my Bank Account (R2398)? Please assist as this is urgent!!!! Kind Regards. Jeanine Rheeder Cell: +***3 ***

My heading is 'Misleading course payment' which points to the misleading payment option which is on that banner which shows R166.58 p/m for 12 months - it does not show you take the R1999 off at once!!! I have put in my Debit card details for the R166.58 monthly debit because I don't have a Credit Card. I cannot afford a R1999 once off payment and also the R399 which I did not request.

The adverti*****t said R166.58 p/m. It did not say R1999 once off at all!!! I thought it was a monthly debit on my Debit Account because it was not stated as once off!!! That is misleading and when the whole amount went off my Bank Account I logged in and cancelled it immediately because it is my Month's food money which you took. I am unemployed during this lockdown and cannot get a job, that is why I thought R166.58 is affordable and I can improve my s****s to get a job as soon as Lockdown is over. I had no service from Shaw of whatsoever and did not request (nor receive) a certificate for R399!!! Shaw cost me R2398 once off for no service!!!!! I explained the whole situation from the start but no one at Shaw wants to resolve this matter and refund me!! It leaves me now with one last option and that is to publish my story (horror experience!!!) with Shaw in the local Newspapers!!!!
