On 5 August I wrote a review about Shaw Academy, where they took my money for a free course. After the review, they suddenly came back and told me they refunded the R399 they took out of my bank, send a credit note and all. That was on 5 August, note saying it will reflect in my account within 7 days.
Well today is 21 August, no money showing in my account for the refund. Did contact them on the 9th, 12th and again on the 20th. Now they tell me it is my banks fault. Question: how must the bank process a credit if there is not really a credit?
I asked for proof from Shaw Academy so I can send to my bank to resolve the matter and no response so far.

I think it is time that all of us who is struggling with Shaw Academy to stand together and report them to the ombudsman. We can't let them get away with this behavior and keep on taking money from people
