Honestly felt like a ****

Shaw Academy honestly felt like a ****. I registered for the free trial. I wanted to cancel my subscription as I could not afford to pay the R399. You actually have to call a number to cancel which is unfair as some people may not have access to funds to make such calls. However I tried calling and their service kept saying that my student ID number was invalid. I didn't know what else to do as I kept trying this number and it seemed like the only option to cancel my account. Shaw Academy still debited my account and when I requested a refund as I felt that this was not my fault. They say they could not refund me. I even explained that I was unemployed due to covid-19 and really could not afford it and could not even use the service as I do not have access to a WiFi connection. I have not had communication since then from them. It is like the company is not concerned about customers or their financial situation at all.
