Free Material **** - Watch Out!

I responded to an Instagram Post from Shaw Academy which advertised a 4-week free trial during which I could do Module 1 of a course entitled Wine Appreciation. I am free to cancel my subscription before the 4-week trial period ends if I so wish. I was led to believe that in addition to the course, I would be entitled to free course materials to the value of EUR50. When presented with the option, I duly clicked the button to get access to my free materials. I was immediately charged R499.99 for the free materials. I have tried everything possible to get a refund, but they have refused. They have offered to extend my free trial period, and include a free certificate, none of which I want if this is the way I am to be treated.

But they, point blank, refuse to give me a refund.

I would not recommend anybody to sign up with Shaw Academy at all. I wish I had read the reviews on Hello Peter before signing up.
