Billed after cancellation

<p>Let's start with the Web development course itself - I attended this course not to learn, as I have gone through many higher quality online courses on the same subject through other institutes, however the idea of obtaining a diploma from an online college "free" was too good to miss.</p> <p> </p> <p>If it sounds too good to be true... the instructors were full of incorrect information and often clueless on certain topics. </p> <p> </p> <p>Then the real catch comes when you find out the "free" course can only be completed by paying for the final assignment or signing up for membership - since a 1 month membership was the cheaper option I decided to take this approach. Immediately I noticed that it was not a one month membership but a "month to month membership", which I then contacted Shaw academy support to determine what I would need to do to cancel - "just select cancel on our portal". Well one month later and having my account debited again I've now had to contact my bank to reverse the payment as their support simply state that it's not cancelled on their system. </p> <p> </p> <p>Low quality training, poor customer support and questionable billing system - you far better off with something like udemy. </p>
