Banking details

I just recently won online learning from Vodacom at Shaw academy and it is said that I'll get a free course but to my surprise they wanted my banking details to debit and I did not provide because it is a free course. I was disappointed and the fact that I checked some reviews and they were complaining about that made me to not trust them yet their courses look I must say.
