Bad service - Shaw Academy

I did a photography course through Shaw Academy.

When I reached Module 4, I was supposed to pay R199,00 to do the E-Certificate. Instead of R199,00, they deducted R398,00 from my credit card. This happened in April 2020. When I enquired about this double deduction, Shaw said that they could not credit the R199,00. but in return, they offered me E-Certificates for Module 1, Module 2 and Module 3, and not paying for this certificates.

It took almost three months to get to the point where I could do the E-Certficate for Module 1, which was supposed to be in return for the money they wrongfully deducted. And then!!! they deducted money for that promised E-Certificate for Module 1.

In the last three months, my problem was handled from one person to another. Firstly, Allen handled it, then Aiden and at last Pearson.

My money is still not returned, I received no free Certificates for Module 1, 2 and 3 as promised, and the went and dedudcted yet another payment.

You cannot call them, they do not call you!!

So be warned, be very carefull to believe anything they promise. Although they make good promises, they do not deliver on anything that they put in writing.

And it is a struggle to get it sorted out, without a positive outcome, ever!!
