I felt like an old friend. I was in the market to replace 4 tyres on my Caddy. I was disappointed with my visits to some 'Big' Nation Name Wheel & Tyre companies. Their Salesmen were judging me by my vehicle even before I asked for a quotation to replace my tyres. When I also explained that I was a Pensioner asking if they would consider 'Pensioners Discounts' Their attitude became cold as if I had asked or said something 'Bad'. 'Pension Discount?' Without actually saying 'Guys get him out of here, let's not waste our time' I went to Sharwoods Linton Grange behind Sasol Service Station. Wow! What a refreshing change, Manager Christo Claassens, was friendly NOT judgemental, open to listening to my needs, then made a few recommendations to suit my budget, as for the 'Pensioners Discount' he offered me a wheel alignment for free as I wanted to take 4 tyres. The deal was reasonable and his 3 fitters were fast and smart, working as a team, the replacement and alignment were completed within the hour and 20 minutes, not only was the workmanship impressive, but they checked other not though about details, such as 'covers for steering and other vital joints' brake pads and disc., all of which was still good. Christo explained what were the 3 stripes around the thread of the tyres for and checked my spare tyre, which was in good condition. Now as far as Service for a 'King' Christo Claassens and his Team makes one walk (drive) away with a smile.
