Useless Property Owner

<p>I am renting a place ***ner Mr JJ Sharpe) with prepaid electricity. Rent paid on time each and every month. Last week Friday 6 January 2017 our electricty has been cut by the municipality due to the fact that the owner is R112000 behind on water, rates and taxes. Seems like the owner does not care about this, because we still have no power and we do not hear anything from him. There are eleven units in the complex but only three units has been cut. I was told that the other units is also going to be cut today 12 January 2017 and within five day, the water if the owner is not going to pay. It is not our fault that the owner is behind on his payments and at the end of the month he wants his rent!!! What can I do in this situation</p>
