Very buggy System and very unreliable data
I bought into their service September last year and for about 2 months I continuously had to point out some errors that I have picked up. Fortunately I am not one for blindly believe in what I am told. One of the biggest flaws I picked up was the fact that they did not warn you after your stocks value becomes less than the percentage you have supp****. They worked on the value you bought it for. There is many others and I have proof of them all. Percentages were worked out wrongly, etc, etc. They claim to have fixed them all but I did not even bothered to check. I have lost complete trust in their system and I will never use real money on the stock exchange with their system as a guide. An attorney tried to get my money back due to the fact that I could not trust their system but then they said that their system is only a training tool and it does not have to be accurate and reliable. DO NOT USE THEIR SYSTEM OR DATA AS AN INDICATOR.. Basically they are saying: IT IS ONLY A TRAINING TOOL AND THEY MAY HAVE UNRELIABLE DATA AND SOFTWARE BECAUSE IT IS NOT MEANT TO BE USED FOR TRAIDING BUT ONLY TRAINING.
The Sharetrackin program is a training program designed to enable students to participate in a simulation of the Johannesburg Stock Exchange while providing them inter alia with a variety of lecture material, training webinars and multiple choice examinations.
The Sharetrackin program is NOT a trading platform. The entire product is centered on a simulation which by its very nature cannot be a 100% accurate representation of the stock market. For example, it does not take into account the volumes traded on individual shares and it uses end-of-day prices. These inaccuracies are tolerated because it is, by its very nature, a training program. It is not designed for actual investments on the JSE.
You discovered some problems with our simulation which you drew to our attention and which were then corrected immediately.
Accordingly, we believe that you have been receiving the training product that you paid for and no refund is relevant.
However, we reiterate that we are more than willing to engage in a conference call with you to resolve any further difficulties you may be having and are you welcome to contact our offices to schedule same.
