I bought a Sharetrackin system in 2000 (still CD based version) which I never used. Because they have my number on file they started calling me about 18 months ago (I only found out later that they are from Sharetrackin) to find out if a consultant can come and see me (in person) about "unknown funds that I have in the banking system that can be utilized" Because I smelled a rat I asked after the umpteenth time to briefly explain to me what it is all about. Apparently they wanted to sell Sharterackin systems. Eventually a "consultant" phoned me from Shartrackin eventuallyto offer me their new online system at R299 per month WITH training. As I am doing SAFEX trading as well I thought that it will be cheaper than the brokerage fee I pay on transactions at SAFEX. (My understanding from the consultant over the phone (I never received any written document regarding this offer) was that once you start using the system for trading you start paying the R299. I received "training"(less than an hour) after which I was not even closely able to do live trading after which I decided to stick with what I am doing and NOT use Sharetrackin. When doing a bank recon at some stage I found that a amount of R299 went off my account for a period of 11 months from a company I dont know. A few months later I received a letter from Sharetrackin debt collections that I owe them in access of R2000 (Apparently I stopped my debit order) This is when I realized that they debited my account for 11 months for a service NEVER rendered and REFUSE to refund me, in fact they want to take legal action for tha outstanding amount!!! I am always very careful of companies that phone you with "to good to be true" offers. I am sorry to say but the way SHARETRACKIN conduct business is sneaky and ********* I I will NOT recommend them to anyone at this stage. Luckily there are alternatives out there...
