STILL WAITING!!!!
I recently contacted this company to move my furniture from Cape Town to Johannesburg. Louise (consultant) advised me that I would receive my load by the 2 January 2016. They contracted the job out to another company who still has my load in Cape Town. He told me that I would get my stuff by the 15 January only.<br> <br> I have had to go out and buy a bed, linen and some basic household goods whilst I wait, I also had to pay for accommodation on the 2 & 3 January as I could only purchase a bed on the Monday. <br> Louise does not respond to calls, she has sent me sms's that she's on leave and instructed me to call the contractor. <br> <br> I sent an email to Share Load King today, hopefully I will get a response by c.o.b. It is their responsibility to get my stuff to me as promised. <br> <br> I am totally disgusted by the lack of empathy from this company, I am angry that no one is taking accountability for this mess, not even a courtesy call from anyone. <br> <br> I dread seeing my stuff once/if it arrives, I do hope everything is in good order as I handed it over. <br>
Robyn, the concept of a share load is very clear - you are sharing the space on the truck with other parties , hence the discounted rate which you were quoted. you contacted us about 24hours prior to your removal. We went out of our way to organize the collection of your couple of items which you '''''INSISTED'''''' HAD TO BE COLLECTED WITHIN 48HOURS. Your load will be delivered next week and we can not be held responsible for your accommodation etc. Please arrange accordingly as all of our other customers do when partaking in a share load.
