Never showed up

After booking with Share Load King, and paying half of my moving fee (R750), they never showed up.<br> <br> Move was booked for 30 January. On Friday they told me the truck is delayed in PE and a other truck was booked to collect my furniture at 15:30.<br> <br> By 18:00 I haven't heard anything and started to transport some of the things myself. Phoned hundreds of times to the one number, and no-one answered. At 19:00 on a Saturday evening they SMS'ed me that they will no longer send a driver, as it is not worth the trouble because I already moved so much myself. Unfortunately a fridge, a washing machine, double bed, bookcase and large L-shape couch can't fit in my car. <br> <br> I had to ask someone with a bakkie to please help me out. Our old place had to be empty by 10:00 on 31 January and inspection also at 10:00.<br> <br> On Sunday evening another company said they received my details and will help me on Monday morning 1 Feb. And I still need to pay the other half of the move to them.<br> <br> They organise the move, you pay them half of the money, then they subcontract it to smaller moving companies and you pay the other half cash to them.<br> <br> Still waiting for formal apology and explanation.<br>
