Where is the proof?????? Not paying anything!!!

This relates to the following ref - ***<br> Received a call a few weeks ago saying i owe on my Edgars account, according to me i paid my account in full and closed it 5 years ago, so receiving a call was very strange.<br> Edgars has never sent me a letter to say i owe or have i received a call from them in 5 years. So how after 5 years do i owe monies?????<br> I request this guy to please send me proof from edgars that i owe, in which he said it will take 40 days for them to get this, what the hell!!!! how do they then know i owe if Edgars did not send them a statement<br> <br> I then went into Edgars and called their headoffice there is no record on their systems of me owing them any money so i would like to know where is this proof that i've been asking for this is HARRASMENT!!! If this in anyway affects my credit record i will be taking further action this is unacceptable - there is something like a CUSTOMER'S PROTECTION ACT and i will make use of it if i dont get any response soon.<br> <br> And then i'm receiving emails every morning and responding to them by asking for proof and no one is responding... what kind of company do you run!!!
