Shapiro shake devries debt collectors incompetence

I am utterly appalled by the incompetence of these Debt collectors. When i cancelled my Discovery membership last year, i owed an amount of R1155. I received an email from Discovery and I made payment in September. Proof of payment was emailed to Discovery immediately. Discovery handed me over to these Debt collectors that I wasnt even aware of! No email or correspondence whatsoever. Now 7 months after i already made payment, the debt collectors contact me saying i owe money! I immediately informed them that it was already paid 7 months ago abd i sent them proof. Now they want me to pay fees for their services! What the hell. What services. I wasnt even aware of them and i dont owe anything. I immediately told them to reverse any charges from date of payment because its *******. Now nobody is helping me resolve this. The consultant Rita told me she was going to send it to relevant department to sort out and copy je. This was not done! I escalated the matter to Supervisor Sifiso who promised to sort it out yesterday and contact me this morning with feedback. Again, nothing was done! I called Sifiso 3 times today and each time i was promised that he would call back . And still nothing!!! It seems like these debt collectors are not interested in resolving matters. I am going to lodge a complaint with management. These charges need to be reversed from Sep until Feb. Its ******* and is *****. Im also goi g to log a complaint with the Ncr.
