Shapiro Shaik Defries & Associates Terrible Service!

I am extremely frustrated with the service received from Shapiro Shaik Defries & Associates. I had an old Markham (TFG) Account that was handed over to them when I became unemployed. I recently called them to let them know that due to the age of the debt it was closed and probably is now prescribed debt (written off). Markham (TFG) and SSDA had both listed me on ITC with the exact same account so the sum of my accounts on my ITC had a duplication which made me look more in-debt than I actually am. After speaking to Markham (TFG) they have updated my ITC to reflect that the account has been closed/paid-up and the balance is now zero. I called SSDA to do the same and the consultant advised that my account is no longer with them so he cannot update my ITC to reflect paid up. He advised that I should send confirmation that the account is closed/paid up to ********** which I have done and have not received any feedback as yet!

I have called TFG legal to explain what SSDA is doing to me and they have also tried to reach out to get this sorted out but again no feedback from SSDA. I got my attorney to call SSDA as well who confirmed verbally that this account is closed on their side.

My question is if Markham (TFG) have updated my ITC to reflect this account is closed/paid up, why can't SSDA do the same especially if this account is no longer with them? Also, if SSDA has confirmed with my attorney that this account is closed why can't they update my ITC and send him a paid-up letter as he has asked for?

This is extremely frustrating. I have been through the debt counselling process but Shapiro Shaik Defries & Associates are holding me back from clearing my ITC record and removing the debt counselling flag. Their client, TFG has updated my ITC to reflect account closed - I am so confused as to why SSDA cannot do the same.

My job & livelihood are on the line because of SSDA and I do not know what else to do to get this sorted out. I've tried myself, TFG has tried, my debt counselling agency have tried and my attorney has tried. I am out of options and this is unfair.
