Harassments - rude - ************ agents

Good day,

Trust you are well. I refer to final letter of demand received on Cell C account number: *** -1 for a balance of R430 dated 12th September 2022 and numerous telephone calls from

I accepted a 5G Data Bundle plan in February 2020 for a premium of R99.00. During this migration (please refer to call recordings) – where I was advised that this is a month to month going forward.

I was amazed early this year when I was asked if I would like to renew my contract. (please refer to call recordings). I reiterated a number of times that I was informed that the offer is a month to month and not a contract. Furthermore, if it was a contract, I received no communication stating such. During numerous calls I kept saying that I have no contract with Cell C and hence no contract to cancel or to continue with. Advisors said they will call me to give me new pricing going forward. I was advised that it was over R200, of which I said that I will not accept is as I will be paying double the amount from R99 for the same 5GB plan. I did them informed Cell C that I will not be continuing with and will not accept the deal of over R200 (there again please refer to your recordings).

The deal was then cancelled in my view. I bought data pre-paid of 1G at the end of March knowing that I have no contract with Cell C, only to be surprised weeks later that the 5G was allocated to my line for the month of April.

Cell C attempted to make numerous debit order for such amounts that I did not agree to. A debit order of R355 went off on the 27 May which I did not reverse as I was completely frustrated with Cell C and wanted no dealings with the company going forward. On the very same day I had purchased data of R99.01 that morning, under the impression that my R99.01 5G PLAN was cancelled.

This too follows a ********** contract opened in my name prior to this.

I have had no joy with Cell C expect frustrations, anxiety, adverse listings on my credit report based on *********** staff members going against the clients wishes. You are not treating clients fairly!!!

Please find list of debit orders from November 2021 to date

CELL C *** I*** 99.01 : 24 DEC CELL C *** I***.02 : 27 NOV CELL C *** I***.15 : 28 FEB Cell C Monthly 1. +*** 99.01 : 28 MAR CELL C *** I*** 215.00 : 28 MAR CELL C *** I***: 14 MAY - REVERSED CELL C *** I*** 430 : 25 MAY – REVERSED CELL C *** I***:27 MAY CELL C *** I***: 31 MAY - REVERSED Cell C Monthly 1.5 *** 99.00 : 28 JULY - DATA PURCHASED Cell C Monthly 1. +*** 99.00 : 28 AUG - DATA PURCHASED

If you may please advise as to why I was charged more than the ‘contracted- month-to-month ’ R99.01 in November 2021 and in February 2022 = overcharged by R110.15 Plus the freebie of R355 on the 27th May 2022 Total: R465.15

To sum it up • Please provide me with recordings and/signed agreement to the amount of R215 • Please advise on why I was overcharged in November 2021 and February 2022 (I’m certain that I will find more of these irregularities from the day I accepted the ‘5G -month -to -month’ offer • The monies overcharged including the debit order of R355 is more than the R430 – ‘THAT I AM SAID TO OWE’ • Please advise on a way forward • Please advise on how you will rectify these adverse finds on my credit profile

The debt collecting company you have referred me to harasses me, day and night. I receive over 10 calls daily. The consultants are EXTREMELY RUDE I have taken a long time to respond as I needed to calm down and gather my evidence.

Failure to have this matter attended to with the greatest of precision, will result in me opening a ******** case of ***** for this current interaction AS WELL as the previously ********** cellphone contract opened in my name. I will not be held accountable for ************ agents that Cell C has in their employ.

Your assistance will be highly appreciated
