Last year I received an attorneys letter from S S D & Ass, initially I was surprised to receive it, then after investigation I realised that due to me changing the main member of my Discovery Coastal Saver, they then pro-rated the payment and I was left owing them money. Immediately started making payments as I could not afford the entire amount upfront. At the end of April I received a phone call requesting payment, I was under the impression that I was paid up, only to find R900 worth of legal costs that had been added on. After requesting a statement of my account I was shocked to learn that every phone call (that I state never happended) has been charged for. The emails I send are coming back half answered by people who have no grasp of the questions I am asking, and yes yesterday I did loose it with the call centre. Since the first legal letter was sent - not once has the correspondence been directed to my husband - not once has he received a call, and now all of a sudden they don't want to deal with me as I don't have power of attorney. I want this matter resolved and I want someone to contact me to assist with a resolution.
