Account settled but still appears on my credit score.

I've settled my account on July and received my paid up letter on the 02 August this year, it's been more than 40 days but my name is not cleared. I was promised that it won't take more than 20 days. I've tried disputing the account on various credit bureaus but did not win when I call not one is picking up. This company ain't professional at all I am sick to the core with them.
