Shape4Life = Con4Life

I've had it with Shape4Life in Germiston. More than a year a go they kept phoning me, so eventually I went in to see them. I was stupid enough to let them con me about this wonderful gym and was promised that the gym equipment is arriving in the month of March 2017. I signed a contract with them as they gave me the month of March 2017 free and my contract will only start in April 2017. The length of the contract.... 3 years, HOWEVER, you can give notice of 60 days! In December 2017 I gave my notice as I have not been able to use the facility for various reasons. So I should be getting my refund by 8 February 2018. Ever since I gave my notice I have been following up with the owner (Alex) who in the beginning had reasons for not responding such as "it is hectic busy but I will get back to you". I have been trying to get a confirmation that my refund will be paid to me by 8 February 2018 since I have submitted my cancellation, with no success. The last response I received with the above response was on 31 January 2018. Now she merely ignores my emails. I have read receipts on my email, therefore I can see exactly when she reads my emails, yet I don't receive a response. Whatever you do.... don't let this con-artist con you into joining her gym!
